Join us for the 2026 MPD Pursuit 1K & 5K Event, an inspiring race that brings together community members, first responders, and supporters to honor the dedication and service of law enforcement officers. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just getting started, this event offers something for everyone!

The 1K Fun Run is a great way for families, kids, and first-time runners to get involved. It’s an easy-paced race, perfect for anyone looking to take part in a community-focused event. The 5K Run/Walk offers a more challenging route for those looking to push their limits while still embracing the spirit of support and teamwork.

Do you think you have what it takes to become a police officer!? Can you run 1.5 miles within 14 minutes and 46 seconds!? We will have the 14:46 Challenge. We will have a 1.5 mile split within the 5k and those who complete the first 1.5 mile within 14 minutes and 46 seconds will receive a surprise gift after the race.

After the race the Midland Police Department will have several specialized units on-site, including the SWAT Team, K-9 Unit, Bomb Squad, Crime Scene Unit, and Drone Team. Participants and their families will have the opportunity to meet officers, explore specialized equipment and vehicles, and ask questions. Make sure to stick around the kids will love it!

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Teen Flow Youth Ministry.
